Happy Thanksgiving from our house to yours!
A few weeks back, my kids had a sleepover at the grandparents, JJ and I spent a quiet night at home watching a movie and a very quiet morning running errands. I thought back to a time in our lives...before kids. Our house was quiet, our nights calm, everything was very organized and yet something was missing. While I wouldn't trade the time JJ and I had for anything, having children and becoming a mom to is a greater happiness than I could have imagined.
I am forever grateful for Sage, Grace and Zoe...they make my life complete (chaos and all)!
I am so lucky to have the greatest husband, father to my children and love of my life. JJ is my rock, he is the rational to my irrational, he is the calm to my passion, he is the yin to my yang...he is the best man I could ever ask for. He works incredibly hard to provide for all of us, and thank goodness he is the best chef around or we all might starve (certainly, we would get bored with my sad cooking skills).
My family means the world to me and that includes my parents and my sister who would do anything for us. They love us unconditionally and I couldn't imagine a world with them not in it.
I have been part of JJ's family for what seems like forever and have gained brothers and sisters in the process, I love them all. They make it so easy to love them, they are so caring and generous and I couldn't ask for better in-laws!
I know this is getting a little sappy, but what do you expect...its Thanksgiving.
I am so incredibly thankful for...

As I said, I'm a little behind
Two witches and a beat up BMX bike rider...
After Zoe and I helped at Grace's class party, we all headed up to Morgan to the business trick-or-treat. Lucky for us, the weather was very nice for us to enjoy it instead of freezing like we did for Saturday's soccer games!
The weather was so beautiful on Sunday, we played in the leaves...
And threw rocks in the river
I can't believe it is November already.
We got the biggest treat of all on Halloween evening. Our very close friends came over to trick or treat, they pointed out their boys shirts each one with a number, 1-4 and then my darling friend uncovered her shirt...it said 5 & 6!
It took me a moment and then I freaked out and had to sit down. We are so excited for them and can't wait to help with everything. My girls have already informed me that they are having girls.

I'm sorry I have been so slow, I can't seem to catch up from our little vacation to Disneyland!
Zoe liked them all EXCPET Goofy!
Zoe loved the parade, it was awesome and so was the light show. The waiting was killer but well worth it. Disneyland is amazing that way, all of the rides, shows and everything are so great it makes you forget the waiting.
Here is our crew, JJ's parents, our niece and one of his cousins and his family. Our kids had so much fun with all of their cousins.
We did learn a few lessons, like don't go over UEA, in fact we will try to avoid going over any weekend next time (and yes there will be a next time, JJ).
Zoe's favorite thing was the princesses, but she liked all of the kid-friendly rides, unfortunately sometimes she did not want to get off of them. We bought her a baby Minnie Mouse on one of the first days and she carried it around with her the ENTIRE trip (luckily she washed right up when we got home).
Sage's favorite ride was the California Screamer roller coaster, he rode it at least a dozen times with fast passes.
Grace did not like being left with the little kids so she tried most of the big rides that she was tall enough for, her favorite was Space Mountain. She did the Tower of Terror twice but got more nervous the second time and decided she was done with that.
just in time for the girls to go to a Princess lunch and meet many princesses
I lost track of them all, but they met Ariel, Belle, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty
And of course Cinderella.
Thanks everyone for such a fun, memorable trip!
