Venzy

What more could a nine year old boy want, we have been celebrating Sage's birthday for days!

Visited Honeydukes

They played endlessly with their wands and I am pretty sure all the kids had a very fun time! We piled them all in the back of the truck on the way home and they screamed spells around the neighborhood the whole way!

The next day was the last football game of the season with his team being undefeated, 7 & 0!

It was a close game, Sage made some critical tackles, sacking their quarterback right before the half, preventing them from scoring was awesome. We were down 6 to 0 at the half (first time another team scored on us first).

Maybe the sign helped, and some serious coaching, but after the half we pulled it together.

I'm so proud of those boys!
I never thought I would say that I'm sad to see the season end but seriously they are so cute!

There were a few times at the game, my heart was singing I tell you! When one of the boys on the opposing team got hurt and our team all quickly took a knee out on the field it was the cutest thing ever (I know cute doesn't go with football, but truly)!

JJ is broken hearted that they aren't going to the playoffs (there is no official playoffs at this age, some teams put on a tournament but not all of our coaches wanted to go) Some were ready for the season to be over (imagine that)!

A special shout out to Papa Aaron for being the official football photographer for me, thank you (I can't hold still long enough to take pics at a game!)

His last game was followed by dinner with grandparents at Texas Roadhouse (his choice).

And to top off the weekend, Sunday JJ and the kids and his family headed to Strawberry Reservoir for fishing on the boat (and maybe a little freezing). Which is why I am catching up on my house and my blog (amazing what you get done without kids around).

Then back to grandma and papas house for dinner and more gifts!

This mom could not be more proud, I love you Sage.
You continue to amaze me each and every day!

Fall

Fall is my favorite season

I am realizing that Fall is also our busiest time of the year...

Photobucket

We have soccer...
Grace is a good little player, this is the first year of playing on the bigger field and learning more about positions. She is doing a great job!

Photobucket

Sage will be playing with his team for the rest of the season and Zoe is already talking about when she can play soccer!

Photobucket

Football...

Photobucket

add two birthdays and it makes for a crazy couple of months!

Oh and a trip to Disneyland later this month, no wonder I feel so busy (oh but we are so excited for our trip, more on that later).

First Concert

Grace and I went to Taylor Swift...

She did not disappoint, it was a great show, Grace loved all of the singing, dancing and changing dresses!

It's been a while since I have been to a concert so I forgot about the cover bands and all the waiting, it was really late by the time the concert ended.

Poor Grace fell asleep before the last song, her favorite one, "Love Story".

We had so much fun (sorry I forgot my camera) and can't wait for the next time, hopefully Zoe can come with us by then!
