Ogden Marathon

Photobucket

My amazing husband ran the Ogden Marathon on Saturday! He did really great, especially considering his "training" consisted of a few short runs and one longer run of 10 miles...nothing even remotely close to 26.2 miles!

I took the kids to their last soccer games of the season.

Then we raced down to 25th street in Ogden to see Jeremy at the finish line, we didn't coordinate that very well because I had no idea when he would finish or where to find him out of 5,000 runners.

We missed him running across the finish line, but we cheered him on in our hearts. I am so proud of you, Jeremy and maybe just a little intimidated!

We went out with friends that night and as Jeremy limped along someone asked him how it was. His response, I'm over it...I don't get why people want to run a marathon, maybe a half next time but a full takes too much training time and I would rather ride my bike!

Spoken like a true bike lover!

Little Bitty

Photobucket

Grace participated in her first (of what I assume will be many) dance competition last weekend.

She was nervous when we got to Lagoon, her team clogged to Little Bitty.

Photobucket

I love the look on her face...

Photobucket

Grace did great, she was happy when it was all over and she got a medal. Her team took home two trophies a first place and an over all!

After watching her little team all year at practices with excited little girls in clogging shoes (very loud) it is fun for me to see it all come together.

Grace and Jeremy went to Pops Party (a special party for Kindergartners and their dads) last week.

That same night, Sage was playing his first baseball game. Thank goodness JJ had some dads step up and coach the team in his absence so I wouldn't have to (ha ha). They won their first game.

Soccer season is almost over...

Photobucket

Yes we are excited, only 4 soccer games to go...2 for Sage, 2 for Grace (hopefully we don't have any makeup games).

I have been to the school for kids performances, mommy makeovers and volunteering so many times in the last few days...I love it, but I am so ready for school to be out and schedules to go away for a while!

Happy Belated Easter

Photobucket

We spent Easter in Southern Utah in a place called Goblin Valley...

Photobucket

The first day was VERY WINDY, we had sand everywhere. I thought our trailers just might blow over!

Photobucket

Photobucket

It is a magical place, just as I remember it as a kid.

Photobucket

We hiked, played in the dirt, ate good food, spent time with great friends.
We jumped, played hide and seek and had an easter egg hunt among the goblins.

We brought home LOTS of red dirt, LOTS of laundry and GREAT memories, thanks for a great trip!

We came home just in time for the Easter Bunny to find us...
I guess he thought we didn't already have enough bikes at this house!

Now I am off to get this busy week started, baseball, dance competition, school performances, Mother's Day...

May is going to be a BUSY month!

Photobucket

I will leave you with one of my favorite pics of the trip...JJ and Zoe in the goblins.
