Thanksgiving on the beach

Bags are packed, house is in order (sort of), passports have been found, kids are in tow.

We are off to the Bahamas for Thanksgiving with my family...10 days of this should make for a very nice holiday!

The kids only miss 3 days of school, Jeremy misses 4 days of work for a 10 day vacation, I could get used to this!

Wish us luck with the flight over (we are on a red-eye), 2 parents, 3 kids wound up for a trip, 3 flights, lots of layovers, customs and I am guessing countless bribes, treats and possibly a few meltdowns...but in the end it will all be worth it.

Happy Thanksgiving to you all!

P.S. I just got back from the doctor with Zoe...she has a double ear infection (such great timing) we are now stocked with antibiotics and children's motrin, hopefully TSA will let us on the flight. We may need more that luck now!

missing tooth

Grace lost her first tooth the other day.

She was pretty nervous about it but she was proud of herself that she let Jeremy pull it out. Once the tooth fairy came to visit she stopped worrying about losing more teeth.

The funny part is, she is following in her brother's footsteps. She gets her new permanent teeth before the baby ones fall out so there is never really a hole in her mouth. Sage is exactly the same way...weird kids I guess!

Zoe Girl

Zoe my two year old...she is feisty, she is stubborn and she is as cute as they come!

Once in a while Zoe has a larger than usual fit. On this day her fit went on for over 15 minutes. She was helping me with laundry, started one of her fits and finally fell asleep right in the middle of all the clothes.

She continues to make us laugh, her latest is she calls me..."mommy-girl"!

I guess it started with "Gracie-girl" and has progressed to mommy and sometimes daddy even gets "daddy-girl"!
She still loves her babies and most days follows Grace around like a lost puppy...
The good news is that Grace, for the most part loves to play with Zoe, like this "dress up" day with makeup and fancy hair!
Her best friend, my favorite little guy Cooper. They are so funny together, Zoe calls him "My Cooper"!
My body may never be the same after having her, but I sure do love this little peanut!
