June

June has been a busy month for us...does it seem like I say that a lot?

Baseball is still going on for both Jeremy and Sage, they love it and we are getting used to going to the ballpark most nights.

Sage did a week long soccer camp which he loved...his team won the world cup. He was playing with big kids, which he thought was very cool! I loved seeing him high five his high school age teammates or sit on their shoulders after a game!

He loves soccer

These three could be trouble!

Grace finished up some swimming lessons, she has improved a ton! I am taking them both to private lessons this week but Grace is turning into a fish just like Sage. Oh and Zoe loves the pool too!

I rode in the Little Red Riding Hood this year with some friends...we had a great time. Unfortunately, I have not been on my bike since!

We have had a few weddings

motherhood

It's tough being a mom...

Carrying babies, pushing strollers all while wearing heels (and a lifejacket)!

RAGNAR

Jeremy ran the RAGNAR again this year and he did great, he ran fast...his team flew in fact! They ran at least two hours faster than their time last year, and finished in the top 30 (out of 1200 teams).!

He was talking last night saying that if only he would have pushed a little harder, if only so and so wouldn't have taken a wrong turn, if only...they might have finished in the top 20....I told him, you guys are "RUNNING SNOBS"!

Congratulations to everyone who ran the RAGNAR, we had a great time watching everyone!

Happy Father's Day

Happy Father's Day to all the incredible dads in my life!

For my dad, you are still my hero and will always be.
For my father in law, you are the best "adopted" dad a daughter in law could ask for.
For my husband, the father of my children, you are an incredible dad, the best we could ever ask for and I am so happy we have you!

sprinklers

Photobucket

We are loving the few days we have had with warm, summer-like weather...

Photobucket

warm enough to get wet without being cold

Photobucket

warm enough to stay outside past dark

Photobucket

Doesn't everyone love sprinklers in the summer!?!

baseball season

Photobucket

Baseball season is well under way...between practices for Sage (Jeremy is the coach), games and Jeremy's games (he plays with his family too) we are at the ball park almost every night of the week!

Photobucket

When it's not raining that is, last week we had a break with everything being cancelled due to the very wet fields...hopefully this week will be better.

dance revue

Photobucket
Last week the kids finished the season of dance and tumbling with a big dance revue...they did great!

Photobucket

Sage had just asked Grace why her cheeks were so red, she told him she had makeup on...love the look he is giving her!

Photobucket
Still laughing about the makeup...boys will be boys

Photobucket

So happy that the season is over. Grace did great in dance and tumbling and is ready to start again. Sage is a great little tumbler, we will have to see if we can fit that into his schedule for fall

Memorial Camp out

Sorry, I am behind again and have been reminded to get my blog current so hopefully this is the first of several posts.

Photobucket
It has become a tradition for us to camp out at Sage Flat (my parent's house) over Memorial Day weekend. The beauty is it is their house which means that Zoe and I can walk to the house and sleep in a bed rather than in a tent! Oh and it is the perfect spot thanks to my dad and his many hours of making paths and tent spots and the perfect camp for us all to enjoy...without any neighbors! Thanks Papa for the great spot!

Photobucket

Photobucket

We got tents setup...without too much trouble.

Photobucket

Sage rode his bike around in the sage brush trying to expend some of his endless energy

Photobucket

We had treats by the fire

Photobucket

We contemplated all the great mysteries of life

Photobucket

We played beek-a-boo under the rain fly

We had a great time and despite the cooler weather we opened the pool for the season for a quick swim (for a few brave souls pictured here)!

Thanks mom and dad, we all had a really great time!
